Candy Bar
Our only two-medal coffee this year. Won Gold as a flat white and Bronze as a filter, which means it is good however you make it.
The judges enjoyed this lovely, coffee forward representation, praising the good mix with milk. A comforting and well composed flat white.
Colombia Patio Bonito Java
A rare Java variety off the Trujillo family's farm. Tastes like fruit candy and won Silver against single origins from everywhere.
The judges loved the coffee's complexity and long, pleasant finish, describing it as a fun coffee with a lot of depth.
Thaddeus
Built for espresso, placed twice. Bronze as an espresso blend, Finalist as a flat white. Plum and brown sugar the whole way down.
The judges enjoyed the vibrant cherry and chocolate combination and pleasant lingering aftertaste. A vibrant and well composed espresso.
Dark & Stormy
A Bronze in decaf espresso. From Carolina Posada's farm, processed with sugarcane, so it tastes like a dessert, not a compromise.
The judges found this a very balanced and genuinely great decaf. A pleasant and well composed decaf espresso.
Rwanda Cyato Washing Station
Grown up to 2,200 meters by the Abadatezuka Cooperative. Bright as blood orange, honored at the awards, priced like a coffee you would actually keep buying.
Vanilla, floral and roasted nut notes gave this coffee genuine complexity, alongside sweet pear, cherry and fig, with dried stone fruit like prune adding depth.
Nightcap
The decaf for people who thought they hated decaf. Carolina Posada's farm again, hand-delivered to our roastery. Clementine and caramel, no caffeine, no letdown.
The judges enjoyed the balanced, sweet and juicy profile, alongside cherry, citrus and brown sugar, describing a harmonious cup with developed body.
Deluminator
A classic-roast espresso with a little smoke and a twist of orange. Honored at the awards, built to punch through milk.
The judges found this a delightful and very enjoyable cup, enjoying the red fruit acidity and spice notes.
Sweet Street
The one that placed as a flat white made with plant-based milk. Cocoa and caramel that hold up in oat, almond, whatever you pour.
Cocoa, sweet ice cream, brown sugar, cookies, cocoa powder and black tea notes opened this coffee, with a character that reads as a good pairing for almond milk.
Dawn Chaser
The easy morning cup that still made the Finals. Cashew, cherry, and a creamy body that does not need anything added.
The judges enjoyed the lingering sweetness that finished black tea-like, along with apricot, maple, and nutty notes.

We have a bean sorter. Here is what it is really for.
Here is what it does. The short version: because we can sort hard, we can keep buying from a farmer even in a year their crop comes in rough. The machine catches what needs catching, so your cup never notices, and the farmer still gets paid.
The beans that do not make the cut do not disappear. They get sold on to roasters who add flavoring.
We do not walk when a harvest has a bad year. That is the whole point of it.
