French Press Brew Guide

What You'll Need

Before you start brewing, gather your tools:

• French Press
• Kettle
• Grinder
• Scale
• Mug
• Fresh SQ1 Coffee

Brew Guide: French Press

Follow these simple steps for a smooth, balanced cup.

1. Add Coffee

Add 18–20 grams of freshly ground SQ1 coffee to your French Press.

2. Add Water

Pour 11 ounces of hot water (about 315 grams) over the coffee.

3. Stir Gently

Give the coffee a gentle stir to ensure all the grounds are saturated.

4. Place the Lid

Place the lid on top of the French Press and let the coffee brew.

5. Wait 4 Minutes

Allow the coffee to steep for 4 minutes.

At the 4-minute mark, gently plunge just below the surface of the coffee.

6. Serve and Enjoy

Pour the coffee into your mug and enjoy a rich, full-bodied cup.
