Before you start brewing, gather your tools:

• Coffee Pot or server
• Kettle
• Grinder
• Scale
• Mug
• Fresh SQ1 Coffee

Brew Guide: Simplify
Follow these 7 simple steps for a smooth, balanced cup.
1. Rinse the Filter
Place the Simplify Filter in the brewer and rinse it with hot water.
2. Discard the Water
Let the water pass through the filter and discard it.
This warms the brewer and removes any paper taste.
3. Add Coffee
Add 15 grams of ground coffee to the filter.
Grind size: medium-fine
Your brew should finish in about 90 seconds.
4. Level Coffee Bed
Give the brewer a gentle shake or tap to level the coffee grounds.
5. Start the Pour
Pour 230 grams of water in a steady center stream for 30 seconds.
6. Let It Brew
Allow the water to filter through completely.
The total brew time should be 60–90 seconds.
7. Serve and Enjoy
Once the brew is finished, pour into your favorite mug and enjoy a clean, flavorful cup.
