Guatemala Huehuetenango
A beautiful washed coffee from Guatemala’s highlands with vibrant notes of honeysuckle, white grape, and almond.
From the rugged mountains of Huehuetenango near Guatemala’s border with Mexico comes this expressive coffee from the ACODIHUE cooperative, a Fair Trade and Organic certified organization founded in 1996.
ACODIHUE brings together thousands of smallholder farmers throughout the region, including a strong community of indigenous producers from the mountainous Cuchumatanes territory. The cooperative works to strengthen these farming communities through programs focused on food security, education, healthcare, gender equity, and sustainable agricultural practices.
Coffee from Huehuetenango is highly regarded for its combination of high elevation, rich soils, and ideal growing conditions. This environment allows traditional Guatemalan varieties to develop remarkable sweetness, structure, and complexity.
In the cup, this coffee is bright and elegant, with juicy notes of white grape balanced by delicate florals of honeysuckle and chamomile. A soft almond sweetness carries through the finish, creating a coffee that is layered, refined, and incredibly approachable.
Whether brewed as a pour-over, drip coffee, or enjoyed as espresso, Guatemala Huehuetenango showcases the beauty and craftsmanship of Guatemalan coffee.
